This site has been created to provide a place for the people of the Ivory Coast to find information, encouragement, photos, and connections. This is a place where we want you to have a voice and to feel loved. We care deeply about you and what your families in West Africa are going through. Our prayer is that, here, you will be reminded of the love of Christ and find peace in knowing that God is still on His throne. He HAS risen... He IS coming back. Come quickly, Lord.
"Si la conduite au bord de l'espoir, et à la fosse de désespoir, accorde-moi la grâce de tomber dans Ses Bras." translated from a Puritan Prayer... "If driven to the verge of hope, and to the pit of despair, grant me the grace to fall into His arms."

A Memorable Summer Gathering
On July 2nd, at Chisolm Park in Hurst, the servants of God from the Ivory Coast in Texas held the 2nd annual picnic. Ivorians from all over the state of Texas gathered with friends and family members for great food, worship, games, music and fellowship.

Hillsong United Concert
My son, Travis, and Olivier recently had the opportunity to travel to Austin to attend a concert by Hillsong United. It was Olivier's first vacation here in the US and an amazing experience for both of them. http://hillsongunited.com/

They visited the home of my brother, Barry, and enjoyed a swim in his pool.
After the concert, they stopped in at my parents' home in Salado to spend the night. Olivier had a chance to tour the town, swim, see the cows, and sit on a tractor. They celebrated Father's Day with my Dad and mom prepared a nice lunch after going to church services that morning. It will be a trip to remember!
